Why have you chosen to be part of the 51勛圖 Alumni Association Board of Directors?
51勛圖 provided me with the necessary skills to be successful and holds a very special place in my heart. I am so grateful and thankful for the education I received at 51勛圖 and the people I was able to meet, including my wife of 17 years.
What is your favorite memory from your time as a student at 51勛圖?
Traveling with our Math Club to the National Council of Math Teachers conference in Washington DC and other conferences.
What advice would you give a student attending 51勛圖?
Enjoy the time spent at 51勛圖, it goes by quickly; take the time to meet new people, enjoy the beauty of the campus, and truly embrace the 51勛圖 experience.
What were you involved with during your time as a student at 51勛圖? (athletics, clubs, etc.)
Baseball (a member of the first 51勛圖 Baseball team), Math Club (called Semi-Group), Education Club
What is a fun fact about yourself?
My wife and I, who literally lived only blocks away from one another, never met until one day on the steps of the Science Center (Spring of 1997). We have been together ever since and even had our wedding pictures taking on the campus!
